How to Play
Grab your playslip and take a look. It's got five panels, each with a letter, A-E. Each panel is a single play. For each panel you want to play, choose one number from 0 through 9 from each column, so you have a total of four digits. You could also mark QP to have Quick Pick randomly select some or all of the numbers.
To play Front Pair, choose numbers from the first two columns. For Mid Pair, pick numbers from the middle two columns. For a Back Pair play, choose numbers from the last two columns.
Choose your play type: Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Combo, 1-OFF, Front Pair, Mid Pair, or Back Pair.
You can play for a minimum of 50 cents. All Straight/Box and 1-OFF plays cost $1. Combo plays cost between $2 and $24.
Choose the draw time you want to play: MID for midday, EVE for evening, or BOTH for both draws. If you choose BOTH, you'll receive two tickets, one for the midday and one for the evening draw. If you don't select a draw time, you'll receive a ticket for the next available draw.
With Advance Play, you can play your favorite numbers, play types, and draw times for up to 14 consecutive days - just mark the number of days you want to play in the 'Days' area.
If you want to claim a prize from a winning Advance Play ticket that still has future drawings left on it, you will be issued a continuation ticket with the same numbers and play types for the remaining draws.
Add 1-OFF to Increase Your Chances of Winning
With 1-OFF, it pays to be close! You can miss the winning numbers by one and still win a cash prize. That's 81 extra number combinations, which equals 81 more chances to win! Players can win a 1-OFF prize of up to $100 by matching the Pick 4 numbers drawn with one of the 81 possible 1-OFF combinations. There's also the chance to win $2,500 if your 1-OFF numbers are a Straight match for the winning Pick 4 numbers!
1-OFF is a play type that you can add to your regular Pick 4 play. It costs an extra $1, but the cost of your ticket varies according to the draws chosen (midday, evening, or both) and the number of days chosen if using Advance Play.
To add 1-OFF to your Pick 4 play, complete your playslip as you normally would, and simply mark the 1-OFF box to add it to your play. You'll receive a ticket that has your four-digit Pick 4 number and the 1-OFF numbers that are one higher or lower than your four-digit number. Note that all 81 number combinations will not appear on your ticket.
How do you win 1-OFF? If your four-digit number is a Straight (exact order) match for the winning Pick 4 numbers, you win $2,500. 1-OFF also gives you 81 extra chances to win up to $100 - if one of your 81 1-OFF number combinations matches the Pick 4 winning numbers, you can win between $15 and $100, depending on the odds of being off by one, two, three or four digits.

NOTE: Pick 4 offers set prize payouts and the Florida Lottery has established a $7 million liability limit for any specific 4-digit number in each drawing. If any 4-digit combination (e.g. 7777) is purchased frequently enough for a drawing that the liability limit would be exceeded, the Lottery will stop further sales for that particular number combination. Additionally, no Front Pair, Mid Pair or Back Pair involving the first 2, middle 2 or last 2 digits, respectively, of the 4-digit number will be included in that drawing. Players who have already played the numbers are still eligible to win the full prize amount. |
